What is LifeTeachUs?
LifeTeachUs is a non-profit educational organization that utilizes the 1 million missed school hours per week in Germany to bring diverse individuals into the school environment. Through this initiative, students gain valuable insights into different aspects of society.
How Does LifeTeachUs Work?
Individuals from all walks of life can qualify as LifeTeachers. Partner schools submit requests through a web app – whether for missed school hours, project days, or as a supplement to regular lessons. LifeTeachers can accept these requests via their app and share their valuable life knowledge in schools. Students are exposed to topics that are often overlooked in the standard curriculum – from finance and craftsmanship to arts, health, and social skills.

LifeTeachUs has an inspiring mission: to fill missed school hours with meaningful and socially relevant learning experiences. As a social start-up, it not only creates new educational opportunities for young people but also strengthens the connection between generations and different life perspectives.
