About Sajeh Tavassoli, Managing Director & Organizer

Born on September 21, 1988, in Tehran, Iran, Sajeh Tavassoli fled her hometown with her parents at the age of five due to political circumstances. They found a new home in Vienna, where she completed her formal education and studied International Development at the University of Vienna.

Fueled by her passion for connecting people, emotions, products, and pop culture, Tavassoli quickly realized the transformative potential of cultural marketing. With over 16 years of experience in marketing, including more than a decade with the German sportswear giant Adidas, her expertise lies in brand development, social media, and digital communication. Authentic storytelling is the foundation of her vision and success.

Her Viennese upbringing, Iranian heritage, and life in Berlin define her identity. As a global citizen, she blends her creative spirit with the energy of modernity and the drive for societal change. In March 2015, she conceived the idea of uniting Vienna’s ball tradition with hip-hop culture in a groundbreaking project. Her goal: to create a platform for intercultural dialogue and facilitate connections that might otherwise remain impossible.

As the HipHop Ball’s founder and organizer, the Managing Director is a visionary partner with a strong sense of purpose and a pioneering outlook. For her, the HipHop Ball represents her dedication to fostering unity in diversity.
