General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the HipHop Ball

1. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of tickets and participation in events organized by the promoter of the HipHop Ball. By purchasing a ticket, the buyer accepts these terms as binding.

2. Tickets and Admission

Admission to the event is only possible with a valid ticket. Tickets are personalized and generally non-transferable, unless the organizer explicitly approves a transfer. The organizer reserves the right to deny entry if the dress code, as communicated on the official website, is not respected.

Admission to the HipHop Ball is restricted to individuals aged 18 and over.

Guests who do not comply with the dress code may be denied entry or asked to make a donation to our official charity partner.

3. Event Schedule and Program Changes

Start times, schedule, and end of the event may be modified as necessary for organizational reasons. A detailed program will be published no later than 14 days prior to the event on the official channels of the organizer.

4. Force Majeure and Changes

In cases of force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, pandemics, official orders), the event may be postponed, canceled, or relocated to a different venue. Such changes will be communicated to ticket holders no later than 30 days before the originally scheduled date. In the event of a postponement or relocation, tickets will remain valid.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds will only be granted in the event of a complete cancellation of the event by the organizer. In the case of a postponement or relocation, there is no right to a refund unless the changes exceed the reasonable limits as defined in section 4. Costs for travel, accommodation, or other personal expenses will not be reimbursed.

6. Liability

The organizer is only liable for damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. Participation is at one’s own risk. Attendees must comply with the instructions of event staff and security personnel at all times. In cases of behavior endangering safety, entry may be refused or attendees may be excluded from the event.

7. Data Protection

The collection, storage, and processing of personal data are carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data will only be shared with third parties if necessary for the execution of the event (e.g. access management, security services). 8. Image and Audio Recordings

By purchasing a ticket, the attendee consents to the recording of images and audio during the event. These recordings may be used free of charge for reporting purposes and to promote the HipHop Ball (e.g. websites, social media, print, TV, online). The rights to use such recordings are granted to the organizer without any limitation in terms of time, location, or content for PR, marketing, and documentation purposes.

9. Venue Rules and Conduct

Attendees agree to comply with the house rules of the venue. Violations may result in exclusion from the event without any right to a ticket refund.

10. Severability Clause

If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by one that most closely reflects the original intent.
