Sajeh Tavassoli is anything but ordinary. A Vienna-born powerhouse with roots in Tehran, the 36-year-old embodies the spirit of a modern woman shaping societal change with creativity and courage.
On a Sunday in March 2015, she had a bold idea: to merge Vienna’s traditional ball culture with her own cultural identity – HipHop. Her vision was to create a moment where two seemingly opposite worlds could meet at eye level, in a true intercultural exchange.
Tavassoli recognized early on the immense potential of culture marketing within digital communication. With over 16 years of experience in brand building, social media and digital strategy, she has established herself as one of the leading voices at the intersection of culture and branding.
As a former Brand Manager and Ambassador for adidas, she worked on international campaigns that combined emotional storytelling, cultural depth, and community building – always driven by her passion for connecting people, emotions, and products.
Now based in Berlin, Sajeh Tavassoli serves as CEO of Urban Artistic and WHHB GmbH, the production companies behind the HipHop Ball – a format that fuses classical high culture with contemporary urban expression. As artistic director and founder, she curates an intercultural experience that stands for purpose, dialogue, and unity – building bridges between eras, genres, and identities.
To her, the HipHop Ball is far more than just an event – it’s a statement of belief: “United” – a call for a society grounded in respect, tolerance, and mutual empowerment.
Her core mission is to create spaces for encounters that rarely happen: between classical music and HipHop, between the culture, creative industries and corporate worlds, between elegance and rebellion.
With a pioneering spirit, strategic vision and creative boldness, Sajeh Tavassoli is one of the driving forces in Germany’s creative industries. Her work demonstrates how cultural formats can become catalysts for social change – and how branding can gain lasting meaning through purpose and cultural relevance.
